Program Manager, CDC
Sean David Griffiths is the Program Manager for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this capacity, he coordinates the overall SBIR Program for the 11 Institutes and Centers that participate in the program. Working with a team, he ensures that the proper resources and critical information is provided to the small business community, VCs, entrepreneurs and those interested in obtaining federal funding through this HHS/CDC life science program.
Sean received his Master’s Degree in Public Health (Health Services) from the University of Washington’s School of Public Health and Community Medicine in Seattle, Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas after honorably serving four years in the United States Coast Guard.
This session will provide participants with an introduction to CDC and its global public health mission.
